What we process and why
When you contact us
If you e-mail or call us, we process your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us, so that we can reply and, if you wish, discuss using Amelis. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and no longer than three years after our last contact, unless the law requires otherwise.
When you visit the website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not build a profile of you. It shows us only aggregated figures such as page views, referring sites, countries and browser types. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address when delivering the pages, to keep the website secure and running. These logs are kept only briefly.
Who else processes data
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor for hosting, security and analytics. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. E-mail sent to us is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, write to info@amelis-audio.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.
